Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 (officially abbreviated as PES 2014, also known in Asia as World Soccer: Winning Eleven 2014 in 2013 and also World Soccer: Winning Eleven 2014 – Aoki Samurai no Chousen (Japan only) in 2014) is an association football video game developed and published by Konami. In comparison to its predecessor, the biggest change is of technical nature: a completely different engine. This mostly has an effect on graphics, animations and physics and allows to initiate body movements like pushing. The playing speed is slower than in the previous instalment and there are few smaller adjustments to the controls, e.g. optional guides during standard situations, a new system for penalties and the option to set and activate tactical predefined combinations for up to three playing field zones.
